cavalierThe LHS Marching Quiet Storm band will be conducting it's annual Spring Band mini Camp Mon., April 8 - Thurs. May 16. Spring band camp will be from 3:15 - 5:00pm. For more information, please see Mr. Wilson.

The next GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) meeting is Thurs., May 2 @ 3:15 in Room 223.

JUNIORS - If you plan on taking the June 1st SAT, the deadline to register is Fri., May 3. Please see Mrs. Foster in Guidance ASAP to get registered.

The National Honor Society will meet on Thurs., May 2 at 3:15 in room 128. Please see Mrs. Madden ASAP if you have any questions.

Congratulations to Trayvon Almond, who was selected as a "Chair's Choice" in the Senior Visual Arts category in the 2019 Elie Wiesel Visual Arts Competition. May Catherine Langston and Haleigh Perry also have work in the visual arts show for the Holocaust commission of the Jewish Federation of Tidewater, "Teaching Tolerance, Justice and Moral Courage".

Thank you to all of the Art 3 and Art 4 students who submitted amazing art for this art show. We are all so very proud of our Lakeland Art Students.

Kamryn Whitley has been nominated for being courageous this May. Kamryn is kind and loving, always checking to make sure the people around her are okay.
