* Students - please take the time to check your chromebook for updates and update if needed. Remember, the update does not install until the chromebook is re-started. We will be taking SOLs next week and the TestNav app does not play nicely when an update is needed. Thank you for your cooperation.

* Virginia High School Students (rising 10th – 12th) who are interested in science and engineering and who would be the first in their family to complete a four-year college degree are invited to apply to join the Pathways for Future Engineers Program at Virginia Tech . This year’s two-week summer residential camp on the campus of Virginia Tech will feature a theme of “Star Wars STEM” where participants will explore how technology featured in Star Wars is becoming reality. Spots are still open in our program and admitted students do not pay any costs to participate in Pathways activities. See below for more information and disregard the deadline of May 1st. https://eng.vt.edu/ceed/ceed-pre-college-programs/Pathways.html

They are offering scholarship and financial aid for students who demonstrate financial need. If interested, please see your counselor.
